4. Blue card stock cut to 8 ½” x 5 ½”
5. White card stock cut to 3 ¾” x 2 ¼”
6. Black Card Stock cut to 3 ¼” x 3 ¼”
7. “Thanks” stamp
8. Clear, blue, brown, black ink pads
9. Circular punch
10. Circular floral stamp

1. If you haven’t done so already, cut blue, white and black card stock to appropriate dimensions
2. Using rounded corner punch, punch all four edges of both the blue and white card stock
3. Stamp large floral patterned stamp onto front of blue card, using blue ink pad
4. Run the black card stock through the die cutter to create floral pattern
5. Attach black card stock to blue card using dimensionals, centering top to bottom, but having it only ¼” from right side
6. On white card stock do the following:
a. Cover sponge in brown ink and lightly brush the edges of the card stock
b. Using a floral pattern (we used a narrow plant pattern) stamp on right portion of white card stock three images using the blue, black and brown ink color (note, the multiple colors are important as they tie the entire homemade card together)
c. Emboss “Thanks” on the top left corner, using the silver embossing powder
7. Attached decorated white card stock, centering on the black paper and lining up the left edge with the center of the card – use dimensionals on the left portion (onto the blue card stock) and glue on the right side (onto the black card stock)
8. Stamp a circular floral design onto white card stock a black ink pad, and punch out with a circular punch
9. Cut blue ribbon to 4”, with ends cut on an angle from there
10. Tie silver string through clear button, making a bow on one side
11. Attach button, to ribbon, to circular punched image to bottom right corner of white card stock using dimensionals between each piece.
There you have it, a beautiful handmade Thank You card that will really show someone that you care. Again, this card does require the use of some craft tools that you may not already own; however when you see the card that they help produce it shows really shows why they are valuable to the serious stamper. Although this card could have been created without a die-cutter and embosser we really think that the power of these tools is highlighted here.
